merin: day 1 \ shoeaday

Fatal flaw: I read Emma’s post before writing my own. Now I am doomed to write a *not as good* post. For someone who was brought up in a *not as good* is the equivalent of failure type family, this is a poor start.

It makes me glad that I chose such a fundamentally sound shoe for day 1. The gold sandal. Some people think that gold sandals (or gold shoes in general) are superfluous. They clearly have never had to wear a teal dress to an outdoor 3pm wedding on the grass. Gold sandals will never fail you. They are like that teddy bear you had growing up, except that when they fall apart you replace them with a slightly more expensive pair and teddy bears could never pull together a brown on black outfit.
